Working principle of PH Sensing Membrane

The photochemical sensing membrane contains a ph-sensitive fluorescent dye that is attached to a permeable polymer matrix.H+ permeates through the polymer matrix, resulting in dissociation equilibrium of the fluorescent dye. The acid and base forms of the dye correspond to different excitation light. Under the irradiation of different excitation light, there are different emission light (green light). The fluorescence changes are captured by CCD camera and quantified by the ratio of emission light intensity under different excitation light.

Application scope of PH Sensing Membrane

At present, the intelligent PH sensing membrane is applicable in the range of 6-8, which can meet the high-resolution detection of small PH changes under neutral conditions.

Preservation conditions of pH Sensing Membrane

  1. the pH Sensing Membrane should be stored in cold storage away from the light, in a dry storage environment, and checked regularly.
  2. in order to prevent the Sensing Membrane from being polluted or weakened, it is not appropriate to open the sealed package before use.
  3. when in use, do not touch the front of the Sensing Membrane (where the dye is) with your hands or other articles, and handle the blank substrate.
